Join Sara from Little Red Farmette in Holland Patent and paint your own exterior barn quilt sign. Your $55 workshop fee includes:

 2'x2' exterior signboard, primed and pre-drawn with the pattern of your choice
 exterior paint colors of your choice
use of all of the materials you will need to complete your barn quilt sign
 individual support and guidance to lead you through the process of creating your painted masterpiece that will be a beautiful addition to your home, camp, shed or (of course!) barn--inside or out!

At $35 guests participating are able to choose 1 pre-drawn painting design of the 3 listed.

The $35 is paid in advance to prepare and purchase materials for you to enjoy this event. If there are any questions regarding the painting design or the event, please message the host of the Facebook event. Walk-ins or day-of-purchases of a paint party seat will not be guaranteed a canvas. The prepaid seat is non-refundable if the participant decides not to attend after purchasing their seat. Refunds will be issued if the painting event is canceled and/or rescheduled.
Purchase of a seat includes: painting lesson with step-by-step instruction, a pre-drawn 11x14" canvas, disposable aprons, and use of acrylic paints, paint brushes, paint palettes, and rinse cups.

The EAST HERKIMER FISH AND GAME CLUB (EHFG) will be sponsoring a NEW YORK HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE. The course will be held at the EHFG Clubhouse on 327 Pine Grove Road, Herkimer. There is a limit of 25 people for the course. Anyone 11 years old or older may attend the course.

WHEN: SUNDAY, MAY 4th, 2025 from: 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, please bring your own lunch, the EHFG will supply water to drink.

Job Corps is a Federal Training Program for youth aged 16-24 to assist with obtaining a high school credential along with a training certification. Trainings include Healthcare, Automotive, Construction, HVAC, Electrical, Heavy Equipment, Culinary, and more!

Workshop Alert: Krystal from Center for Careers in Government will be at Herkimer Working Solutions on Wednesday, May 7th at 10:30 to talk all about the civil service process and how to successfully start your career with NYS!
